Description

Rhus typhina, commonly known as Staghorn Sumac, is a striking deciduous shrub/small tree valued for its eye-catching velvety branches, and tropical fern-like foliage. In summer, cone-shaped clusters of yellow-green flowers appear, which are popular with pollinators.

In autumn, it displays fiery autumn tones of red, orange and yellow. It's hardy and low-maintenance, growing in any moist but well-drained soil in full sun.
