Description

Pittosporum tobira is a medium-sized evergreen shrub with attractive glossy green leaves. In late spring to early summer, the leaves are accompanied by sweetly-scented small cream flowers. The flowers start bright white and fade to yellow.

Drought-resistant once established, Pittosporum tobira prefers a sheltered position in milder areas of the UK. Also known as Japanese Pittosporum or Australian Laurel, this variety has received the RHS Award of Garden Merit.
