Ligustrum japonicum is an evergreen Japanese Privet. It features dark green leaves year-round and sprays of scented white flowers in late summer. These flowers are followed by clusters of small black ornamental berries. It is also known as Wax-leaf Privet due to the attractive, waxy appearance of the leaves.
An excellent choice for year-round screening, Ligustrum japonicum takes well to pruning so can be kept very neat if desire. It grows well in a sheltered, sunny to partially shaded position.
