Description

Pinkcurrant 'Gloire De Sablons' is a lovely, old French variety of currant bush, producing high yields of pretty translucent pink fruits which are ready for picking from July. Rarely found in supermarkets but easy to grow at home, 'Gloire De Sablon' pinkcurrants are sweet and juicy and most commonly used in summer puddings and as a garnish.

Ribes rubrum 'Gloire De Sablons' has good resistance to diseases and is a fantastic alternative to the standard blackcurrant plant. Perfect if you're after something a bit unusual!

Planting Steps

Aftercare Advice

Trees and shrubs require a good watering regime for a couple of years whilst they establish. Water well and regularly through spring and summer, increasing in hot or dry weather. If planting in autumn, you may only need to water a little. It is advisable to keep the area free of competing weeds and grass during this period.
