Description

Forsythia × intermedia 'Minigold' is a small, deciduous shrub with a compact habit, reaching an approximate height and spread of 1.5 meters. In early to mid-spring, it produces deep yellow flowers on bare branches before the leaves emerge, creating a striking contrast with the bark. In autumn, its foliage turns yellow, adding further seasonal interest. Forsythia × intermedia 'Minigold' thrives in moist but well-drained soil and grows best in a position of full sun or partial shade.

AKA: Forsythia × intermedia 'Flojor', Forsythia × intermedia 'Mini Gold'
Planting Steps

Aftercare Advice

Trees and shrubs require a good watering regime for a couple of years whilst they establish. Water well and regularly through spring and summer, increasing in hot or dry weather. If planting in autumn, you may only need to water a little. It is advisable to keep the area free of competing weeds and grass during this period.
