Description

Buddleja Davidii 'Free Petite' is a deciduous, dwarf shrub. The impressive cone-shaped blooms are just as floriferous as those of larger varieties, showcasing a mix of pink, purple, and white tones that contrast beautifully against the deep green leaves. The flowering season lasts from July to October, offering an impressive display of colour throughout the seasons. Developed at Cornell University, this shrub was specifically designed to fit into gardens with minimal space, whilst still benefitting from attracting wildlife such butterflies and other pollinators.

'Free Petite' thrives in full sun or partial shade within a sheltered environment. It prefers moist but well drained soils and has an approximate height and spread of 1 meters.

Aftercare Advice

Trees and shrubs require a good watering regime for a couple of years whilst they establish. Water well and regularly through spring and summer, increasing in hot or dry weather. If planting in autumn, you may only need to water a little. It is advisable to keep the area free of competing weeds and grass during this period.
