Description
Ligustrum vulgare 'Atrovirens' creates an attractive semi-evergreen Privet hedge with small, slender green leaves. In summer, pannicles of small white flowers attract pollinators.
Wild Privet 'Atrovirens' is a versatile hedging option, ideal for traditional, cottage and contemporary gardens. It responds well to clipping and can be maintained as a neat low hedge from around 60cm, or allowed to grow taller for screening. It is hardy and will retain the green leaves in all but particularly harsh winters. 'Atrovirens' is pollution-tolerant, growing best in full sun to partial shade.
