Description

Hydrangea paniculata 'Polestar' is a small, compact hydrangea, growing about 50 cm tall and wide—perfect for containers or borders. It has broad, toothed leaves and produces rounded flowerheads of large, flat florets from early summer to mid-autumn. The flowers start white, then fade to pale pink, and finally dark pink in autumn. In autumn, the leaves turn fiery orange and red before deepening to a rich purple.

AKA:  Hydrangea paniculata Switch Ophelia

Aftercare Advice

Trees and shrubs require a good watering regime for a couple of years whilst they establish. Water well and regularly through spring and summer, increasing in hot or dry weather. If planting in autumn, you may only need to water a little. It is advisable to keep the area free of competing weeds and grass during this period.
