Description
Campsis grandiflora is an eye-catching flowering climber that produces large, trumpet-shaped orange-red blooms throughout summer. Commonly known as the Chinese Trumpet Vine, its vibrant flowers stand out beautifully against the dark green foliage, which is composed of elegantly toothed leaflets.
It is a vigorous and fast-growing deciduous climber that can reach a mature height of around 10 metres. Campsis grandiflora thrives in full sun to partial shade and prefers moist but well-drained soil. Fully hardy and part of pruning group 8, this striking climber makes a gorgeous addition to walls, fences, or pergolas.
