Description

Lapins Cherokee Cherry tree produces heavy crops of large, dark red cherries with a deliciously sweet flavour.  Lapins Cherokee cherries have good resistance to fruit splitting, helping you enjoy an attractive and plentiful harvest in late July.

A reliably self-fertile cherry tree with a slightly upright habit, Cherry Lapins Cherokee is ideal when space is limited or you only have space for one fruit tree. As it is self-fertile, no second cherry tree nearby is required to produce fruit. Plant in full sun and we're confident this Canadian variety of cherry tree won't fail to please!

Prunus avium 'Lapins' originates from Canada 1984.

Planting Steps

Aftercare Advice

Trees and shrubs require a good watering regime for a couple of years whilst they establish. Water well and regularly through spring and summer, increasing in hot or dry weather. If planting in autumn, you may only need to water a little. It is advisable to keep the area free of competing weeds and grass during this period.
