Acer palmatum Dissectum Tree

Weeping Japanese Maple Trees

from From £29.99 (ex. VAT)
Was: £39.99 (ex. VAT)
( £35.99 (ex. VAT) inc. VAT)

This delightful mound forming small ornamental tree will grow to just 2 x 3 meters in 20 years. The deeply dissected, feathery foliage is a strong limey green turning striking shades of golden and orange in the Autumn. For the best Autumn colour, plant Acer palmatum Dissectum in acid soil, or mix in some ericaceous compost, lime soil will still be tolerated.

Acer palmatum Dissectum makes the perfect small garden tree in a well-drained soil and sheltered position. Dappled shade is ideal, as it protects the delicate foliage from the harsh sun which can be drying, as can prevailing winds. This beautiful small acer tree makes the perfect backdrop for other plants and looks fantastic next to a pond or in a Japanese style garden.

Please note: Sunday 17th December is the last order date for Christmas delivery (excludes pleached and mature trees which have an earlier deadline).

Delivery Timescales

All trees are carefully packed by our experienced team. Most deliveries are made within a week of placing the order, with many being despatched to our tried and tested couriers within 24 hours. To be on the safe side allow up to 10 working days for despatch. These trees are sent on a 'no signature required' basis, so there's no need to be in to receive your delivery. You can give instructions on where to leave it via the checkout or send us an email (sales@ornamental-trees.co.uk).

There is a slightly longer timescale on pleached and mature trees (trees over 2.5m in height) because we group orders together by geographic area for specialist delivery - we will contact these customers to notify them of the delivery date and whether the delivery driver needs help unloading the trees.

Gift trees and other trees required for arrival on a specific date can be accommodated with pleasure at no extra charge, although we accept no legal responsibility for late deliveries.

Our nursery is a busy despatch centre and therefore customers need to make an appointment to collect or view trees.  For collections, despatch charges will be refunded.
