If you have any questions or problems, please use the contact methods below to tell us what you want, what you think of the site or just simply take a day out and visit our nursery in Herefordshire. We are open Monday-Friday 9.00am-6.00pm, Saturday 9.00am-5.30pm and Sunday 9.00am-4.00pm.
Plants for Friends
Orders can be sent, on request, to a different address. We can include a gift card and message if required.
Container plants are, of course available all year round. We can only supply bare root and rootballed trees from November to March. You should consider ordering these early as stocks of the more popular varieties do run low, and certain varieties may, from time to time, be out of stock.
Our Guarantee
All plants are checked at the nursery before dispatch and in the unlikely event that you should be dissatisfied with your purchase, or that it should fail within 12 months of purchase, a full refund or replacement will be provided. ( This guarantee is valid only if the plant has not been neglected and we may ask for the plant to be returned.) This does not effect your statutory rights.

Please have to hand the list of the trees and the sizes that you would like. If paying by credit card, have your card ready. If paying by cheque please send no money until
you have received an order confirmation, it will show how much is owed.

If you have a query with or wish to alter your order please quote your customer reference number when calling.
Full payment will be required before despatch of order.
We confirm all orders and any alterations.
All our trees are sensibly priced and do not subsidise the cost of carriage, therefore our carriage charges are based on what the carriers charge us. We do, however, encourage our customers to collect their orders from the nursery, (a day out in Herefordshire is to be recommended).
The season for lifting and despatching bare-root trees is November-March. Though we can send you any plants at any time of year, it is easier, (and cheaper), to send bare-root trees rather than containerised specimens mailorder. It is kinder to send any plant when it is in its dormant state.
Carriage Charges
FOR EACH CONSIGNMENT:-
Carriage is charged at 15% of order value, with a minimum of £12.95. For items above 2.4 metres, or unusual shapes, we have to deliver using our own vehicle. In this case each consignment has a surcharge of £15.00 added.

The prices quoted on this Web Site include V.A.T. where applicable.
Please allow 28 days for delivery. If plants required by a certain date please contact us to see if this can be arranged. You will be informed of the exact date one week before delivery.
Bare root trees and rootballs can only be despatched from November to March when they are dormant.
We encourage customers to collect their orders from the nursery. No carriage will be charged for collection of orders but we do ask for seven days notice.
Orders for Scotland and offshore U.K. destinations will be subject to a carriage surcharge.
Complaints and/or breakages should be notified within 48 hours of receipt of goods. Whilst every effort is made to ensure the trees are true to name, liability shall not exceed the purchase price of the goods.
All tree sizes are approximate and subject to growing conditions. We reserve the right to subsitute the nearest size to that ordered and to alter the price accordingly. However, due to high demand or crop failure some varieties will, from time to time, be sold out.
The nursery reserves the right to delay despatch of orders if weather conditions are unsuitable for lifting.
