Dwarf/Patio Trees

Smaller japanese maples, dwarf flowering cherries and small weeping trees are some of the trees in this section. All are suitable for growing in containers and none will grow bigger than 2 metres.

Dwarf chestnut with pink and yellow flowers. Top grafted.

CARAGANA arborecens Walker

Yellow flowered very small weeping tree.

COTONEASTER suec. Juliette

Very small, semi-evergreen weeping tree. Foliage green and white tinged with pink. White flowers in spring and red berries in autumn. A good small tree for year round interest.

LABURNUM alpinum Pendulum

Slow growing, stiffly weeping small tree with fragrant yellow flowers. Good for small gardens and patios. POISONOUS

PRUNUS incisa Kojou-no-mai A shrub or small tree with pale pink flowers in early spring, before the leaves emerge.

PRUNUS incisa Mikinori Small tree growing to around 2 metres. White blossom in March and rich coppery red autumn colours. Does well grown in a pot.
