Conifers

All our conifers can be classed as trees, from the very narrow Italian Cypress to the giant Wellingtonia, from the small Blue Spruce to the enigmatic Monkey Puzzle. Available as rootballed or container grown trees.


ABIES koreana

Small, slow growing coniferous tree of conical habit. Purple cones, up to 15cm tall, appear on relatively young trees.

ABIES koreana Silberlocke

A small, slow growing coniferous tree. The purple cones will appear on relatively young plants. The twisted branches showing the silver undersides of leaves.

ARAUCARIA araucana

Monkey Puzzle tree, or Chile Pine. S American tree of unique appearance. Plate like leaves up the branches are sharp to the touch. Now increasingly rare in the wild this tree was much planted by the Victorians. Plant now for your grandchildren to enjoy!

Blue Cedar. Silvery-blue evergreen tree. Eventually a large tree but slow growing.
