A Bramley that is 20% less vigorous than 'Bramley Seedling' and so is ideal for a smaller garden. The green skin of this cooking apple is red flushed and the flesh pale and acidic. As with the popular Bramley apple, Bramley 20 is a superb cooker. This variety is from Bristol in 1970 and will produce heavy crops in October. As a triploid the apple tree Bramley 20 will require two pollinators or one self fertile pollinator in groups A, B or C within half a mile ie just about any other apple tree in the area will pollinate this popular apple tree.  As well as the usual semi dwarf and semi vigorous, we also usually have this variety in an M27 rootstock which is very dwarf and great for planting into containers or for tiny gardens.
